The ZW32-40.5 series outdoor high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker is a pole-mounted, three-phase pillar-type 40.5kV vacuum circuit breaker designed for AC 50Hz power systems up to 35kV. The unit integrates a vacuum interrupter, embedded solid-insulated pole, spring or permanent-magnet operating mechanism and built-in current transformers (100:5 to 1600:5) inside a fully sealed, maintenance-free enclosure. It delivers stable breaking performance, superior moisture- and condensation-resistance, and long service life in harsh outdoor environments (-35°C to +45°C, altitude up to 2000–3000 m, pollution level IV).

The ZW32 40.5kV Vacuum Circuit Breaker can be equipped with reclosing controller to identify the current characteristics and achieve multiple automatic reclosing, self-provided PT as a power source to become an intelligent circuit breaker with voltage and current signal output and can be controlled; by the electronic PT to provide power and can complete the overcurrent delay, inrush current delay, short-circuit quick-break three-stage composite protection.
ZW32 40.5kV Vacuum Circuit Breaker of products overall for the pillar type, three-phase common mounted on a mechanism box, the dynamic end of the interrupter room through the inflection arm, insulated tie rods for the output shaft of the mechanism connected. The mechanism and the connecting rod connected with the circuit breaker are in a waterproof box. The transmission mechanism of the circuit breaker is composed of a connecting rod and a crutch arm, and the dynamic end of the interrupter chamber is connected to the output shaft of the operating mechanism through a crutch arm, an insulated tie rod, a connecting rod and an operating mechanism. The rotation of the output shaft is driven to realise the dynamic contact of the arc extinguishing chamber to carry out the splitting and closing action.
ZW32 40.5kV series products are equipped with current transformer, each phase can take four windings, two of which are used for measurement, two for protection. According to customer’s need, 100:5, 200:5, 400:5, 800:5, 1000:5, 1600:5 current transformer can be installed.
Disconnecting switches can be added to the side of the circuit breaker to form an outdoor high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker and an outdoor high-voltage disconnecting switch combination appliance, which increases the visible disconnecting breaks and has reliable interlocking operation.
